Clubs' youngsters unite on pitch
Following the recent re-launch of mini rugby at Thetford RFC their coaches got in touch with their counterparts at Swaffham RUFC to arrange some reciprocal training sessions.
Following the recent re-launch of mini rugby at Thetford RFC their coaches got in touch with their counterparts at Swaffham RUFC to arrange some reciprocal training sessions.
So Swaffham's U9 and U10 squads travelled to Thetford's Mundford Road ground for a thoroughly enjoyable session followed by a couple of short games played between the mixed squads.
The Swaffham coaches commented on how far the players had come in only a few weeks.
Some of the Thetford players will be travelling to the Norwich RFC minis festival this coming Sunday, alongside the new Swaffham friends they have made. Swaffham's players, coaches and parents thank Thetford for excellent hospitality.
