Cycling Club Breckland super veteran Chris Nudds and Paul Sexton travelled to Six Mile Bottom, near Newmarket to compete in the VTTA (East) 10 mile time trial.

On a blustery night they both rode strongly, with 40-year-old Paul finishing in 22.02 and 68-year-old Chris in 22.31.

Chris was the sole CC Breckland rider at the API-Metrow promotion, the Zak Carr Memorial 25 miles time trial on the E2/25 course. He battled windy conditions to post a time of 57.58. The event was won by James Rix of Crawley Wheelers in 49.34.

The Iceni Velo 10 mile time trial on the popular B10/43 course near Wortwell attracted three Breckland riders, Paul Coulthread, Mick Wood and Mark Fairhead.

Mick finished best of the three with a time of 24.46, Mark in 25.10 and Paul in 30.52. The event was won by Team Velovelocity’s Daniel Bloy in a blistering time of 20.34 which made him the only rider to get under the 21 minute mark.
