Bury Sunday League round-up: Mellis hit five in rout of CFC Bury

Mellis saw off CFC Bury at home with a 5-2 victory in Division One of the Plastic Trade Frames Bury Sunday League.

Gym United’s home match with Ixworth was awarded to Gym.

In Division Two, Athletico Liberty scored eight goals without reply at home to Occold. The Mace were the visitors to Cheveley who won 6-1, Great Whelnetham won with the odd goal of five at home to Coldham Hall.

In Division Three, Badwell Ash won 3-2 at FC Norton whilst LP Bar and Danepak shared the four goals for a point each.

Moreton Hall 96 and Horringer also shared the points with a 1-1 draw. Brandon Sundays were the visitors to Moreton Hall Ferals who won 7-1.

In Division Four AFC Elmswell hosted Eriswell who scored seven without reply. Hosts Eye Saints were 7-1 winners over Norfolk Terriers and finally Abbots 07 were the visitors to Westbury Social Club who won 6-2.
