The final turned out to be a superb exhibition of youth football. Bulldogs started at an express pace, with Matt, Elliot, Nathan and Jack S linking well.

Then a quick counter by Wymondham's star player saw him net. Elliot scored a sublime strike with his left foot. Now Bulldogs were playing flowing football, with Elliot hitting the bar and Matt a post.

But an excellent move involving Nathan, Elliot and Matt played in Jack B to make it 2-1. Wymondham then equalised. A remarkable clearance by Elliot saved Bulldogs in extra time.

So it went to penalties and with Aaron making two saves Bulldogs sealed a cup victory. Man of the match was Nathan, who was absolutely superb in midfield.
