Bridgham Utd did what they needed to do against Division Two’s bottom side Rampant Horse on a very wet afternoon as they secured the points with a 6-2 win.

After Scott Marketis saw an early chance saved, the away side took the lead after only five minutes with a very well-hit shot from outside the area.

Bridgham took time to settle, but built up the pressure and equalised midway through the half when after good play by Bradley Sandell he crossed for Liam Levy-Twomey to head home. Further chances fell to Levy-Twomey, Marketis and Sandell. George Palmer, who had a fine game in midfield, saw a shot saved, but just before half-time Marketis set up Michael Watts to make it 2-1.

Bridgham killed the game off early in the second half as Watts scored in the 50th and 53rd minutes to complete his hat trick. Rampant Horse pulled a goal back before Darren Clay and Marketis rounded off the scoring.
