Bridgham Utd entertained triple county cup winners and title-chasing Dereham Taverners.

Bridgham keeper Ian Harrison pulled off a good save early on and the away side saw a goal disallowed for offside.

Luke Wheeler had a great chance for Bridgham but his effort went straight at the keeper whilst Jason Conroy fired past the post. Harrison then produced another good save but he was beaten on 25 minutes after some sloppy defending.

Conroy fired a good shot over but Taverners made it 2-0 on 30 minutes. Harrison needed to pull off another good save just before half-time. The second half was only two minutes old when Dereham scored a third after some poor defending but to be fair to Bridgham they then created three good chances but Wheeler (twice) and Simon Sutcliffe failed to convert.

Harrison could do little to stop Dereham’s fourth after a free header from a corner.
