Bridgham Utd travelled to Yaxham and for the first half battled well before going down to a 5-1 defeat.
Yaxham took the lead with a good move to make it 1-0, which was how it stayed to half-time.
Bridgham started the half with Jack Green hitting the post after 40 seconds of the restart but for the next 15 minutes it became the Billy Gorman show as he produced four superb saves including two amazing stops that left Yaxham wondering how they had not scored.
Despite Gorman’s best efforts even he could do nothing about Yaxham’s second goal which was a fierce shot for 2-0. Yaxham then missed a great chance and hit the bar but did make it 3-0 after some sloppy defending. The home side then scored another two goals to make it 5-0 but substitute Iain Low netted a late consolation.
MoM was keeper Gorman who did not deserve to be on the losing side after his performance.
