Bridgham United faced a Dereham Taverners side in the league cup semi-final who are on course to win the county cup for the third year in a row and have only lost one league game in the past two seasons.
Bridgham were without half a side due to player unavailability and cup rules restricting others from being able to play. This meant Bridgham travelled with a bare 11 players and as feared faced a very hard afternoon.
Dereham were 3-0 up after 28 minutes but Bridgham did get one back when Tom Wood set up Ben Mannion who finished very well with a left foot shoot into the corner for 3-1.
Billy Gorman in the Bridgham goal also produced some good saves whilst at the other end Tom Wood fired a chance over just before half-time.
The second half however was a very one sided affair as the home side scored at regular intervals to score nine time to run out very comfortable 12-1 winners.
