BRECKS A clinched the Norfolk County League Division Four title despite going down 5-2 for their first defeat of the season.

They gained the two points needed with two games remaining.

Scores: A Byford, J Gardner, P Scott, M Struthers 19-7; B Mosby, M Holbrook, D Betts, I Wright 10-25; E Melton, T Bingham, J Downie, M Scarborough 25-14; M Rutter, D Beattie, W Pattee, R Barnbrook 18-23.

Brecks B lost 69-94 (2-6) to County Arts C.

Scores: G Hollowood 17-27; S Davey 10-41; L Robinson 18-15, V Conie 24-11.

They bounced back against North Walsham C winning 82-70 (6-1) to gain some valuable points.

The ladies finished their league games with a very good win over Norfolk B 75-31 (8-0) to finish the season in fourth place.

In a friendly against Norfolk Women's VPA, Brecks lost a close game 62-69.
