Bad start kills Bridgham hopes

Bridgham United 2, Tacolneston 6

BRIDGHAM UNITED found themselves 3-0 down after 17 minutes as defensive shortcomings were exposed by a Tacolneston side who attacked and passed the ball well.

Alan Boon pulled one back from the penalty spot after a hand ball, but again players switched off as Tacolneston broke to make it 4-1. The half ended with another Tacolneston goal after more poor defending but Bridgham pulled another goal back when Gary Vickers scored from a Simon Richards free-kick.

Bridgham played better in the second half with Jack Hamilton seeing two efforts well saved. But Tacolneston scored the only goal of the half to complete a quick double. Simon Long Appliance Care MoM: Chris Marlow.
