THETFORD Athletic FC completed another successful season on Saturday night, when they held their third annual presentation dinner.

The Reds completed their fixtures two weeks ago with a 7-2 win at home to Saham Toney which cemented their place as Division Two champions.

This means that the club, which was only established in 2005, made it a hat-trick of championship trophies and back-to-back promotions which has resulted in them playing in the top tier of the South Norfolk League next season.

On top of their excellent league form they also managed some outstanding cup runs which saw them take part in three cup finals.

But it wasn't to be their year as they were defeated in all three, so the trophy cabinet will have to make do with just the three championship trophies for another season.

The club would like to thank Drivers Elite, and the Men's Room for their sponsorship and support this season, along with the committee at Thetford Rovers FC for all their help with the pitch hire.

This season's award winners were: top goal scorer Mark Fowler (36 goals), clubman of the year Margret Calver (kit lady), unsung hero Paul O'Brien, most improved player Jack Denniss, supporters' player of the year Jack Denniss. Drivers Elite players' player of the year: Mark Fowler, Men's Room player of the year: Mark Fowler.
