Bridgham United entertained title-chasing Longham, who have only lost once in the league this season, and were beaten 7-1.
Bridgham were not helped by a number of players being unavailable and this told as the game progressed.
Longham opened the scoring on 16 minutes and Jason Conroy then hit the bar before the visitors double their advantage. Conroy then fired a chance wide and Darren Clay saw another effort well saved as Bridgham looked for a goal.
After the break Bridgham’s Adam Bunting saw his effort blocked on the line but from that point Longham took total control of the game as the hosts defended poorly and conceded two quick goals. Gorman then pulled off a great save from a penalty but he was again let down by some of the players in front of him as Longham scored three more goals to make it 7-0 before Luke Wheeler grabbed a late consolation. Ben Mannion was man of the match.
