On Sunday, March 16 team members of Thetford AC took part in the sixth and final race of the Ryston Runners Annual Cross Country Grand Prix at Shouldham Warren.
On Sunday, March 16 team members of Thetford AC took part in the sixth and final race of the Ryston Runners Annual Cross Country Grand Prix at Shouldham Warren.
In the U11 Girls 2km race Victoria Dolman put in a strong performance to finish in eighth place in 10:22.
In the U15 Boys 3Km race Thomas Francis put the disappointment of the previous days race behind him and ran a determined race taking the lead from the start to finish in first place in 9:58.
After the race overall awards for the series for those that had competed in a minimum of three races went to Rachel Mumford U13 Girls third place, Sam Wing Senior Ladies third place and Thomas Francis U15 Boys first place after winning all of five of the six races he competed in.
Thetford AC was also awarded the Most Improved Club Trophy.
