On Friday, the Ladies' Section of Ashill Bowls Club held a very successful Lady President's Day. Among the invited guests was the current President of the Norfolk Women's Bowling Association, Mary Adams and the Vice-President, Christine Webb.
On Friday, the Ladies' Section of Ashill Bowls Club held a very successful Lady President's Day.
Among the invited guests was the current President of the Norfolk Women's Bowling Association, Mary Adams and the Vice-President, Christine Webb. Players from eight clubs in the county participated in the afternoon's matches, which were followed by a presentation and a substantial afternoon tea provided by the Ashill Ladies.
President Iris Thomas will be donating £75, half of the proceeds from the pre-match spider and post-match raffle, to the Diabetes Association.
