YEAR seven youngsters spent a day experiencing multicultural events as part of a special day at Thetford Grammar School.
Activities included African drumming, Brazilian Capoiera street dancing, world food and Chinese painting.
Head of art Amanda Sherring said: “The day was a huge success and pupils embraced the opportunities that they were given and made comments such as 'today has been a fantastic experience' and 'I think that I have learnt a lot about other people in the world'.”
The school will also hold an Aztec themed day today organised by year nine's for year three's to take part in.
The latter will be dressed as peasants while year nines will become Emperors, Gods, Warriors and priests.
