YOUNGSTERS are encouraged to apply for funding from Forest Heath District Council for potential community projects.
The Youth Grant Scheme aims to support young people to develop projects and services that enhance and develop services across the district.
Grants are available up to a maximum of �500 and applications must fall into one of the council's priorities.
These include affordable and accessible housing, community engagement and communication, community safety, economic regeneration, outreach projects for teenagers, street scene and environment, and transport issues.
The deadline for the next round of funding is January 27 and successful applicants will be decided by young people on the council's youth forum.
