A group of young actors took to the stage for their first all-singing, all-dancing production of the popular stage show Bugsy Malone.
Children between eight and 13 from the Thetford Academy of Dramatic Art (TADA) stared in the performance at the Carnegie Room, backed by a willing group of parents who pitched in a the stage crew.
Speaking after the show, which was held on March 9 and 10, Thetford mayor Derek Mortimer praised the group’s efforts.
Founder of the group, Vince Gregory, added: “The whole company are stars, too many to mention individually and we are so very proud and grateful to all of them.”
Plans are now in place for future lessons involving older children, and an adults group.
