Children will have the chance to get up close and personal with some scaly species at a series of workshops.
The free workshops have been organised by Pets at Home in Thetford as part of the My Pet Pals Activity Club.
From Thursday, February 9 to Friday, February 17, staff at the shop on the Forest Retail Park, will share their knowledge on fish and reptiles, teaching the children how to care for them responsibly in a fun and interactive way.
There is also the chance for children to meet the stars of the workshop, including freshwater and tropical fish and learn the five welfare needs of these animals - shelter, food and water, good health, appropriate company and the right living environment.
After completing the workshops, each child will receive a certificate and stickers.
