A 30-year-old woman had to be taken to hospital after being trapped between two cars in the Esso service station on Mundford Road, Thetford.

Ambulance crews were called to the garage at about 7.20pm on Wednesday but by then she had been freed.

An ambulance spokeswoman said: “On arrival, our crew found the woman was no longer trapped. They assessed and treated her before conveying to West Suffolk Hospital at Bury St Edmunds for further investigation. Any injuries were not life threatening.”
