Woman punched in attempted robbery
A 19-year-old woman was punched in the face during an attempted handbag snatch in Thetford.Detectives are appealing for information following the attempted robbery, which happened in St Nicholas Street at about 9pm on Sunday .

Detectives are appealing for information following the attempted robbery, which happened in St Nicholas Street at about 9pm on Sunday .
The victim was walking towards Station Road when she was approached from behind by a man who tried to pull her handbag from her shoulder. She managed to keep hold of the bag, but was punched by the offender before the man ran off.
The woman was left badly shaken by the incident. The offender is described as white, about 5ft 10inches tall and was wearing a dark grey hooded tracksuit and black trainers.
