A teenager inspired by others to raise money for charity will run between Thetford and Bury St Edmunds in aid of Sport Relief this week.
Frankie Lake, 17, will jog 25.6 miles from Thetford bus station on Bridge Street, to Bury St Edmunds train station and back again.
The West Suffolk College sports science student hopes to raise around £300 for Sport Relief, in particular mental health charities as he knows someone who suffers with schizophrenia.
Frankie, from Elm Road, Thetford, said he was inspired after watching coverage of various events last month.
“I watched the programme and I wanted to do something,” he said. “I feel better when I’m doing something and I’ve been training for the last four weeks. “I’m quite confident because I’ve been running for cancer since I was in middle school, so I’m used to it.”
Frankie will undertake his challenge on Friday.
