POLICE officers are warning motorcyclists in Thetford to act responsibly or face having their bikes seized.

POLICE officers are warning motorcyclists in Thetford to act responsibly or face having their bikes seized.

This follows a number of residents in the Croxton Road area raising concerns about motorbikes, mini-motos and mopeds being used in an anti-social way.

Thetford Safer Neighbourhood Team is now conducting regular patrols in the area and will be issuing warning notices to people riding their bikes in an anti-social manner.

If a second warning is issued to a person within 12 months then their vehicle will be seized.

PCSO James Barrett said: “Motorcyclists are being advised to ride responsibly, as anti-social driving causes a great deal of annoyance to residents and it's also extremely dangerous.”
