Two Watton-based businesses have been named among the most “inspiring” British companies.
Housebuilder Abel Homes and pet food producer Natures Menu featured in a report by the London Stock Exchange Group’s 1,000 Companies to Inspire Britain - which identifies the fastest-growing and most dynamic small and medium enterprises (SMEs) in the UK.
They were two of only six firms in Norfolk on the list - with 100 companies from the East of England included.
Abel Homes managing director Paul LeGrice said: “We are delighted to be named in this report, as it shows that not only have we achieved strong growth in the past three years, but we are also outperforming other businesses in our sector.
“We believe that our strong local roots and knowledge of the local market, combined with our continued innovation in areas such as design and sustainability, have enabled us to deliver a very strong performance.”
