Two people were rescued last night after fire broke out in a redundant hotel made famous by TV comedy Dad's Army.Firefighters were called to the former Anchor Hotel, Thetford, shortly before 6pm after smoke was seen coming from the 18th-century building.
Two people were rescued last night after fire broke out in a redundant hotel made famous by TV comedy Dad's Army.
Firefighters were called to the former Anchor Hotel, Thetford, shortly before 6pm after smoke was seen coming from the 18th-century building.
Two people were reported to be in the former hotel, but were rescued by firefighters.
They were given treatment at the scene for minor smoke inhalation but were not taken to hospital.
