The driver of a pick-up truck is facing police action after the MOT on the vehicle was found to be a year out of date.
The large truck, with double rear wheels, was seized by officers after being stopped on the A134 near Thetford earlier today (Saturday, November 30).
Checks confirmed the test certificate expired in October 2018. The driver's licence had also expired meaning he had no insurance.
Meanwhile officers also seized a Mercedes stopped on Canterbury Way in Thetford. While the driver is a permanent UK resident he had not re-registered his vehicle in the UK.
A second Mercedes was taken off the road by the same officers five minutes later when it was stopped on Brandon Road. The driver was found to be disqualified until 2020. He will also be reported to the DVLA for not having taxed the vehicle since 2018.
