Two people were taken to hospital yesterday after a three-vehicle crash near Thetford.
Emergency services were called to the A1066 near the Rushford bends at about 9.30am following a collision between a Ford estate, Citroen, and silver Fiat, which caused one of the cars to hit a tree.
The A-road was closed for nearly three hours whilst firefighters worked to release a woman passenger from the Citroen who suffered a back injury.
She was taken to the West Suffolk Hospital near Bury St Edmunds as well as a man who suffered a suspected broken left elbow.
