A top London clinical negligence lawyer who has won £13 million in damages for her clients over the past year has joined the Thetford office of legal firm Kester Cunningham John.
Rosamund Rhodes-Kemp joins the firm's Thetford office as a partner from Bolt Burden Kemp. The legal profession's two independent league tables, compiled by Chambers and the Legal 500, describe her as 'uncompromising' and having 'an impressive reputation for putting the client first'.
The same league tables have placed Kester Cunningham John at the top of the East Anglian list for the past several years.
Rosamund works primarily in maximum severity cases, and is especially passionate about children's and old people's medical care, a concern she puts down to her previous experience as a nurse working with those groups.
She joins a clinical negligence team at Kester Cunningham John which has itself won £25 million for clients over the same period. She brings with her to East Anglia a substantial amount of ongoing claims work for members of the Public and Commercial Services Union.
Her clients' loyalty is such that she has a growing number of overseas cases, acting for those who originally instructed her when they were based in the UK. She currently has clients in the USA, Dubai and New Zealand as well as all round the UK.
