A youth organisation have praised the local community for their generosity following an appeal.
Thetford Youth Council launched their Toys and Treats appeal in early November.
The teenagers wrote to business and had a collection booth at the town’s Winter Wonderland event at the beginning of December.
It was decided the collected toys and treats would go to the Pine Close Community Centre for distribution as they organised a special event on Christmas day.
Sharon Thompson, from the community centre, said: “The youth council are amazing and their collection was a brilliant idea for helping families at Christmas.
