People will be able to have their say on plans to regenerate the centre of Thetford at a public meeting later this month.
An exhibition outlining proposals to transform an area outside Boots will be held in a marquee between 10am and 5pm on February 27 in King Street. Between 5pm and 8pm, the exhibition will move inside Kings House.
Members of the Moving Thetford Forward (MTF) Thematic Group for Heritage, Culture and Tourism will be on hand to answer questions, alongside representatives from Thetford Town Council, Norfolk County Council, Breckland Council, the scheme designers and the Heritage Economic and Regeneration Trust.
At the end of the consultation period comments will be summarised in a report and MTF’s Thematic Group will decide whether the proposals should be modified.
Anyone unable to attend the exhibition can view the plans online at www.movingthetfordforward.com, or send written comments to acting Thetford town manager, Susan Glossop, at Kings House, King Street, Thetford, IP24 2AP.
