Thetford playgroup treated to a coat of paint
A Thetford playgroup was treated to a makeover when staff from a local business got their paintbrushes out and volunteered their time.
Fulmerston Family and Community Project was treated to a coat of paint by workers at Vinci Facilities who left the office and visited them at their Fulmerston Church base for a day.
Project manager Barbara Bysouth said: “It’s absolutely amazing to be offered this gift rather than having to seek funding ourselves. This will make such a difference for the children – it will be so bright and clean and all it’s costing us is a few cups of tea.”
Danny Welling, Vinci’s account manager for the eastern region, said the company aimed to serve the communities in which it worked.
“This project is a marvellous opportunity for us to demonstrate that collaborative involvement with residents such as this can bring a real and positive change that benefits the wider community,” he said.
“Vinci is delighted to be involved with Flagship, and to have the opportunity to be trusted to deliver a service that exceeds customer expectations.
“Working closely with our customers on this project in a joined-up fashion further cements our mutual commitments, making communities much happier places in which to live.”
