Budding mathematicians have been celebrating double successes.
Year 10 and 11 students from Thetford Grammar School received their grades from the Intermediate United Kingdom Maths Challenge, with many achieving merits and distinctions.
Top of the class was Polly Sizer who achieved a gold award for her efforts; closely followed by Ayush Kumar who also achieved gold.
Fellow students Will Hart and Jade Whitehurst were just two points behind, gaining silver awards.
Following in their footsteps, year 10 students Will Follis, Sam Sayer and twins Nicola and Robert Penny recently represented the school in the regional final of the Year 10 Team Mathematics Challenge East of England Regional Final 2012 at the Cambridge Centre for Mathematical Sciences.
