It is hard to believe these photos are of a real town, but a Norfolk photographer has taken to the skies to create stunning scenes with a model village effect.
Neil James Garrod's photographs of Thetford, using his drone, went viral online as people admired his unique editing skills which made the town look like a model village.
He said: "I was thrilled with the reaction online. I had seen this editing done before so I tried it out myself and it turned out really well.
"The inspiration to capture this all is very easy to find in and around our town.
"We are very lucky to have such beauty and diversity on our doorstep, from the heath, rivers, iconic buildings, castle hill, Nunnery Lakes and out to the forest. We are really spoilt for choice."
The part-time photographer and wedding disco DJ hopes to create more of these images for people to enjoy and said his drone will be capturing Thetford's Winter Wonderland Christmas on November 29.
