A THETFORD builders' merchant has celebrated its first birthday.

Thetford Buildbase, in Wyatts Way, staged a trade day to celebrate its inaugural year and invited customers into the branch to enjoy a day of events.

As part of the celebrations a raffle was held and one customer took home £500 of Buildbase bouchers.

A range of Kawasaki Superbikes were also on display.

Manager Ian Bell said: “We wanted to mark our first year of trading so had a day with various displays and activities for customers.

“We even had a birthday cake that was kindly donated by Rita Allen and enjoyed by guests.”
