CHILDREN and staff at Raleigh Infant School and Nursery in Thetford said a fond farewell to a much-loved teacher this week.
Lesley Dunnett has worked with thousands of children and many adults during her teaching career, which includes 21 years at the school.
Mrs Dunnett has enjoyed supporting children with their learning in all areas of the curriculum.
“Mrs Dunnett is very good at teaching us phonics,” said Michel from Year 2, while classmate Laura added: “She is always very kind and friendly, I will miss her.”
The school is very sad to see Mrs Dunnet leave but sent their best wishes for her retirement and hope she will pop back into school and see them soon.
