A pair of historic Suffolk windmills will welcome visitors as part of National Mills Weekend.
Dating from 1819, Thelnetham Windmill stands on the edge of Thelnetham Fen, close to Diss.
During the 19th century it was a successful working mill but it had become derelict by 1926. It was purchased for restoration by mill enthusiasts in 1979 and was completed in 1987.
The mill will be open on Saturday and Sunday, May 12 and 13, from 11am until 4pm. Last admission for a mill tour will be 3pm.
Bardwell Tower Mill, near Honington, will be open to visitors on the Sunday from 10am until 4pm.
The Bakery Shop will be open with refreshments on sale and there will also be a tombola, raffle and other fundraising entertainment.
Cared for by the Suffolk Mills Group, it is hoped flour will be milled during the day.
For more information about the mills visit the East Anglian Mill Society website.
