Following a successful debut event Thetford’s Soapbox Challenge returns.
Last year, watched by hundreds of spectators, nine teams raced down King’s Street to be crowned champions.
On Sunday, April 22, 15 teams will take on the time trails in this fun, family event.
As well as the fastest kart being crowned, an award will be given out to the best looking kart or team.
Last year there was a Back to the Future themed vehicle and one which looked like a dragon.

Teams will arrive from 9am and will do practice runs down the street.
The time trials begin at 12pm. Once all have had their runs, there will be a 30 minute break, before they take on their second trial.
