Six men have been charged by police following a large fight in Brandon High Street.

A total of 11 men were arrested following the disturbance in the early hours of Sunday January 11 in which several people suffered minor injuries.

Police have spent several months investigating the incident. Two people have been released without charge and three others remain on bail.

Stephen Warner, 19, of Mount Road, Brandon, Garry Marriott, 19, of Gas House Drove, Brandon and Craig Green, 19, of The Rookery, Brandon, have all been charged with a public order offence and are due before Bury St Edmunds magistrates on July 7.

Mark Bird, 40, of Seymour Avenue, Brandon has also been charged with a public order offence and is due before Bury Magistrates on June 30.

Airidas Gedgaudas, 22, of Seabank Way, King's Lynn, has been charged with a public order offence and possession of an offensive weapon and is due in the same court on June 30.

Adrian Metcalf, 32, of Fen Street, Hopton, near Diss, has been charged with common assault and will appear in the court on July 7.
