When Poppy Warnock and her sister Daisy saw the sign for their housing estate looking dirty and broken on Wednesday morning, they had only one thought.
Despite being in the midst of their summer holidays, the sisters, eight and five-years-old respectively, rolled up their sleeves, and got cleaning.
Supervised by neighbour Livvy Renwick, they soon had the sign for the Redcastle Furze Estate, in Thetford, looking good as new.
They are now waiting for the sign, which had fallen down, to be refixed to its post by Breckland Council.
