A SERVICE of remembrance for those who have been killed in crashes on the region's roads is being held in Norwich next month.

It is an annual event open to all faiths and those affected are being invited to send in photographs of those killed so they can be displayed in the cathedral on the day.

The event, organised by Dereham-based Liz Voysey of Roadpeace, is on Sunday, November 15, at St John's Cathedral in Norwich.

She said: “The service is truly moving and provides much needed and deserved comfort for many of the families who attend.

“It is such a rare opportunity for us all to unite in our grief and honour the lives of our loved ones who have been taken in this tragic way.

“We also take the opportunity to thank the members of the emergency services who try so hard to save these so precious lives.”

Refreshments will be available after the service.

Contact Liz Voysey to send a photo at 280 Norwich Road, Dereham, Norfolk, NR20 3AY, by calling 01362 697617 or by e-mailing Liz.voysey@sky.com
