A MAN has spoken of his sadness over learning that his younger brother has been found dead in the bedroom of his house in Thetford.
Jason Pitchers, 36, was found dead in the bedroom of his home on the town's Fir Road on September 9. It is believed that he may have tripped and fallen in the room knocking, himself out. He was found by his lodger and his girlfriend.
The coroner has been informed and a post mortem is to be held to establish the cause of his death.
Jason, who was single, worked at the Thetford division of food storage and handlers, Brakes.
Andrew Millard, 42, paid tribute to his younger brother saying he was someone who “wouldn't hurt a fly” and was someone who “kept things to himself”.
Mr Millward said he would be known in the Yarmouth area because, after leaving school in the Caister area, he worked on the pony and traps, giving rides along the seafront to holidaymakers.

“My brother was a really nice chap who cared about everyone and everyone cared about him, his death in such circumstances is so sad and a waste of a life. He wasn't a hero or a brain-box but just a down-to-earth guy,” said Mr Millward.
He said that Jason's parents, mum Janice Johnson, of Caister, and dad, Barry Pitchers, of Yarmouth had been left distraught at their son's death in such tragic circumstances.
