RSPCA inspectors have visited a travellers’ site in Thetford over animal welfare issues.

On Wednesday the inspectors accompanied by the police, Breckland Council, equine charities and a vet, attended the site next to the BP garage on the A11.

A spokesman for the RSPCA said: “At present our investigations are ongoing and it would not be appropriate to comment any further at this time.”
