Officers were called to the A-road at around 9.30am this morning following reports of a broken down car on the Norwich bound stretch of the road near Thetford.

Tweeting a picture of the scene, police warned drivers to “pay more attention to the road hazards/markings.”

Police were then called to a second broken down vehicle on the road, this time on the London bound carriageway just before the Croxton turn off.

Again they issued the same warning to drivers to “pay attention” after drivers were reportedly not looking far enough ahead of them to see the cones or the police vehicle positioned before the hazard.

The road has now been cleared.
