Two police officers suffered whiplash injuries after their patrol car was involved in a crash on the A11.

Suffolk Police made an appeal for information following the collision that occurred between the marked police car and a lorry at the B1106 Elveden crossroads yesterday .
The southbound carriageway of the A11 was blocked for more than two hours after the crash that happened at about 11.20am.
A Suffolk Police spokeswoman said the two officers were treated for minor injuries at the scene and the car was being examined after being recovered. She added that the officers were on a routine patrol at the time of the collision and the incident had not been referred to the Independent Police Complaints Commission.
