Police were forced to call off a car chase after it became too dangerous as they raced through Suffolk and Norfolk.
Bury St Edmunds' roads and armed police units tried to stop a Renault Clio which was seen travelling from Bury St Edmunds towards Thetford on Monday, July 8.
The driver then fled, with officers in pursuit, but they had to abandon the chase in Thetford after the public were put in danger by the Clio's erratic driving.
The vehicle was discovered at about 3pm today, July 9, in the Forest Heath area of Suffolk.
Police seized it and while no arrests have been made enquiries are on-going.
