Police appeal after man knocked unconscious in Thetford

Police are appealing for information after a man was knocked unconscious during an incident in Thetford.

It happened in the car park off Tanner Street when the victim, a man in his in mid-20s, was approached by a group of three men. A member of the group, who was riding a bike, hit the victim with a bottle knocking him unconscious. The victim suffered cuts to his head and hands which required hospital treatment.

Officers are keen to hear from anyone who may have witnessed the incident, which happened between 11.45pm on Saturday, August 2 and 12.30am the next day.
