Final funding for a more than £100,000 investment in new play equipment in Thetford is set to be approved next week.
Breckland Councillors are being asked to give £15,000 to Thetford Town Council to help replace the ageing play facilities at Castle Park.
The £114,200 project has already received £66,000 from the Big Lottery Fund, £15,000 from town council funds, £15,000 from Wren, £3,000 from the Round Table and £200 from Thetford Lionesses.
Members of Breckland Council's cabinet are being asked to approve Thetford Town Council's match funding application on Tuesday, providing that the town council agrees to take over the ownership of Castle Park and other play areas within Thetford.
