Overnight A11 closure from Wednesday
Stretches of the A11 are to be shut overnight from Wednesday for resurfacing works. The work, between the B1112 to Lakenheath and the C road into Mildenhall, will last for five nights, from 8pm until 6am, and will be carried out in two stages.

The work, between the B1112 to Lakenheath and the C road into Mildenhall, will last for five nights, from 8pm until 6am, and will be carried out in two stages.
The first will be along the A11 from its junction with the C road into Mildenhall to the junction with the B1112.
While this work is carried out, the A11 will be closed between the Fiveways Roundabout at Barton Mills and the B1112.

Northbound traffic will be diverted from the Fiveways Roundabout, along the A1065, then B1112 to the A11, and in reverse for southbound.
The second stage will be across the staggered junction between the A11 and the B1112 northbound towards Thetford.

While this work is ongoing, the A11 will be closed between the Fiveways Roundabout and the B1106 to Brandon/Bury St Edmunds.
The diversion will be from Fiveways Roundabout to Brandon via the A1065.
From Brandon, vehicles will be diverted to Thetford via the B1106, U616 and B1107, ending at A11/B1106/A134 roundabout. It will be in reverse for southbound traffic.
While the road is closed, access will be allowed for properties.
No work will take place on the carriageway during peak hours. All lay-bys will be closed 24-hours-a-day.
