CUSTOMERS of Breckland Council will benefit from a new one stop service in the centre of Thetford.
On Mondays and Tuesdays, customers in Breckland will have access to all council services under one roof at The Limes on Bridge Street.
People who want to make payments, request council services or just make a general enquiry should call in to the Citizen Shop - there is no need to make an appointment. Services include paying council tax, applying for housing and council tax benefit, obtaining blue badges, and submitting or viewing planning applications.
Funded by the Breckland Partnership, the Citizen Shop is run by two Mobile Europeans Taking Action (META) staff who will provide support and advice in English, Portuguese, Polish, Lithuanian and Russian.
