A 28-year-old police community support officer is off work and recovering from a knee injury after trying to stop motorcycles being ridden illegally in woodland near Thetford.
Police said the officer attempted to prevent three off-road bikes using land near the A134 at about 2pm on Sunday.
Ethen Sieley, 18, of St John's Way, Thetford, has been charged with assault causing actual bodily harm, dangerous driving and driving with no insurance in connection with the incident and is due before Thetford magistrates on Monday November 24.
