Local talent was put in the spotlight after an evening of live music was held at Thetford’s Charles Burrell Centre.
Thetford Acoustic Night 6 was the latest in a series of music events hosted by local musician Alton Wahlberg to showcase local singers and songwriters.
Around 130 guests were treated to an intimate gig which featured covers as well as original music.
There were performances by Ben Wheatley, 16, Shannon Elsden, also 16, Thetford-based group Macarnos and Curtis Cronin from Brandon, before Mr Wahlberg closed the show.
“It’s always pleasure to perform at Charles Burrell Centre as the old assembly hall provides the perfect acoustics for this type of event,” said Mr Wahlberg. “Those that attend have always been so engaging with the artists which helps boost their confidence and is so important for the younger performers who were superb on the night.”
